How we do it:
XHTML - This is the next generation of the HTML web language. It is a combination
of XML and HTML, and provides many benefits over standard HTML. Not only will pages
look great across multiple browsers and platforms, they will be accessible by a wide
range of devices. No longer will they be limited to just computers.
Cascading Style Sheets - We use Style Sheets to give your website it's look.
CSS allow us to separate
the content of your site from how it is presented. This is important because
it makes changing the look of your site much easier.- JavaScript - JavaScript is used to give your website all kinds of new functionality. It is a client-side lightweight programming language which allows executable content to be included in web pages. It means that a web page need no longer be static, but can include programs that interact with the user, control the browser, and dynamically create content.
PHP - This is a server-side embedded scripting language that allows for content to be
generated on demand. It turns ordinary web pages into web applications.
With PHP you can pull information from databases and files and use it to dynamically
generate content.- Perl - Perl is a programming language that can be used to dynamically create content for web pages. It can be used in countless ways to create dynamic, interactive, web pages.
Java Server Pages - JSP's are created using Java, a widely used programming
language that runs in many environments. JSP's allow us to create sophisticated web applications
that can satisfy a host of needs.
MySQL - MySQL is an open source database that we use to store
information needed by your website. Having a database allows you do really amazing things from
tracking customer information to storing diary entries.

How we do it:
Xserve Servers - These servers have dual 64-bit G5 processors at speeds of up to 2.3GHz.
Our servers are running OS X Server, a BSD UNIX based operating system with an
Apache web server. These systems are fast and extremely reliable.
POP/IMAP Email Servers - Email accounts have POP3, IMAP, and SMTP access.
Email packages include forwards, aliases, and autoresponders and
a full featured control panel for managing them. Some email packages also include
email lists which can be set up and managed from the control panel.
SSL support for all email protocols
is also available. Email accounts also include server-side spam filters (Aspam)
along with many well known DNS black lists to eliminate spam. Each user can customize
the level of spam
filtering on their account. Users also have access to our white listing features,
which will only allow delivery of email from specified addresses.
Webmail - Each email package includes access to webmail using
SquirrelMail, a standards-based webmail package.
The webmail interface provides maximum compatibility across browsers.
Features include MIME support, address books, and folder manipulation.- Site Statistics - Site statistics are provided with Webalizer, a fast web server log file analysis program that produces highly detailed usage reports in HTML format, for viewing with a standard web browser.
