A unique duathlon along the shores of Lake Michigan in beautiful Saugatuck, MI. The race starts with a 5 mile trail run in Saugatuck Dunes State Park. The run has sand, dirt, dunes, and several beautiful views of the big lake. Afterwards, a 17 mile bike ride on the rural roads of Laketown Township which is mostly flat with some gentle rolling hills. The road quality is excellent.
